What should I bring for my dog during their stay?

   We can provide food (dry kibble) or you're welcome to bring their own food. We can cater for different dietary requirements and we have fridge & freezer space for any raw/fresh food diets.
We have plenty of bedding available but feel free to bring their own, along with their favourite toys if you'd like them to have some home comforts.
Please remember their vaccination cards, microchip numbers and any medications your dog may require. There's no need to bring bowls unless you'd like to provide a slow feeder or similar.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
 

All dogs must be vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis and leptospirosis and proof from your vets must be provided.

Kennel Cough is not mandatory but if you do choose to have it done it must be done at least 14 days prior to staying with us.

​Please also ensure that your dog is up to date with worming and flea treatment.

 

Can I visit the kennel before I board my dog?

Yes, we like you to be able to meet our staff and see the environment where your dog will be staying. We're open for visits every day by appointment only. Please get in touch to arrange.

What if my dog has special needs?

   Please inform us of any special needs or requirements your dog may have, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

 

Can my XL Bully (or other exempt breed) board with you?

Yes, there is no breed discrimination here, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes!

In accordance with our insurance policy we follow these rules - 

1. The dog's exemption certificate must be provided and a copy will be taken.

2. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.

3. Exempt breeds cannot be mixed with other dogs unless they are from the same household.

4. The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled at all times when in a public place, this includes when arriving and leaving the kennels.

5. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
